We asked our members "What are the reasons you keep coming back?" and this is what they had to say!
Think of it as your weekly reset. Two nights a week, we invite you to step into the spotlight; to act, sing, and dance; and leave the stress of work and the real world at the stage door.
Get recognised for doing something genuinely great for the community - and have a brilliant time doing it.
Perform on the big stage of Peacehaven Player's Community House to an audience of up to 120!
If you've always dreamed of being on stage then this is your chance!
We have alot of fun on and off stage with our WhatsApp group and organised socials
We're not the professional industry. We're here to have a go, support each other, and have a laugh. The main reason our current members stay is because the people are so supportive and welcoming! New members will be paired with a 'Veteran' member who can show you the ropes and introduce you to the group.
Peacehaven Players is community-led creativity at its core. We are run by the community, for the community, providing a supportive space for anyone to explore their passion for the stage. We take great pride in our welcoming atmosphere, where people of all experience levels are encouraged to join in, learn, and simply have a go.
Join as an acting member and be a star on the stage! We do it all at Peacehaven Players - Acting, Dancing and Singing! We do have a policy that all new acting members appear in the chorus for their first show, unless there is a part we cannot fill. But after that, you can audition for any part you are interested in. If you are happier staying in the chorus, that's completely fine too.
Not an actor but have a creative itch to scratch. Join our creative backstage team 🥰 - from painting scenery, prop designs, designing our backdrop projections, lights and sound, making costumes or even just general help, there is always plenty to be done! This is a voluntary position, which means no fees
The beating heart of the show. From working backstage to helping front of house, without our engine room volunteers we would have no show! We're looking for friendly volunteers to help out as ushers, bar staff, programme sellers, raffle ticket sellers, first aiders and fire marshals. This is a voluntary position, which means no fees
